Prevention Specialist Certification Board of Washington

The not-for-profit Prevention Specialist Certification Board of Washington (PSCBW), in partnership with the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (ICRC), offers a professionally developed, demonstrably valid, 100-question multiple-choice exam that fully meets U.S. Department of Transportation certification requirements, as mandated by 49 CFR Part 40.

The exam is administered at least quarterly by PSCBW-approved proctors at designated sites across Washington State. Proctors will maintain test security and ensure that the registrant is the intended examinee. PSCBW generally reports the exam results within four weeks. The examination fee is $200.

Please contact PSCBW Testing Chair, Dean Wells, CPP with questions or to register for an exam either by phone: (509) 922-8383 or e-mail: dwells@gssacpreventioncenter.com.
